Where Technology and Tone Meet
The original Shin-Ei Uni-Vibe* is a highly unique, complex and gorgeous-sounding analog unit, so when we set out to recreate it digitally we knew it wasn’t going to be easy. Through countless hours of meticulous side-by-side testing with the real thing and by pushing our insanely powerful DSP to its very limits, we’ve been able to recreate this legendary effect to a tee. You’ll get all the lush, syrupy vibe tones heard on countless tracks by Pink Floyd, Robin Trower and Jimi Hendrix and when you dive into that opening Machine Gun riff, we just know you’ll be convinced that we nailed it.
The Rock World Just Leveled Up!
We poured our heart and soul into VISCOUS VIBE and there’s no hiding that we’re extremely proud of what we achieved. Its dead-on recreations of the legendary gooey phasey goodness and thick dramatic swirls of the original Shin-Ei Uni-Vibe* unit already makes it epic, but then transferring it all to a high-quality compact design that won’t break the bank – that just makes it epic beyond belief.
Vintage Vibes & Modern Strides
With VISCOUS VIBE you get the best of both worlds in a pedal that perfectly combines old analog warmth with modern-day functionality. With True Bypass for uncompromised tonal quality and stereo I/O for an ultra-wide sonic perspective, you've got the ideal pedal for hammering home classic-rock tones in your setup.
TonePrint
Our proprietary TonePrint technology is just another upside to this already amazing pedal. So if you feel like making that stock vibe tone sound a little more like…well, you…then hook it up to our free TonePrint Editor and enter tone-tweaking heaven! On top of that you can also beam custom-made vibacious tones straight through your pickups and into the pedal via our free TonePrint App. The future is a pretty awesome place to be!
True to Tone
You love tone, so do we, and our design philosophy testifies to that. So whatever route you wanna go, we got your back. With optimized headroom, True Bypass or Buffered Bypass switch and Kill-Dry on/off, this pedal guarantees optimal tonal integrity and zero loss of tone. And, no matter if the pedal is on or off your precious dry sound is always passed through the pedal unharmed in all it’s pure analog glory due to an Analog-Dry-Through.
TonePrint
TonePrint means signature effects – and signature effects means truly creative tones. From classic innovators to the guys shaping the future of music, we’ve asked the coolest artists around to come up with their customized signature version of a TC Electronic effect – and make them available to you for free!

Download the free TonePrint app for Android and iPhone, choose the TonePrint you want to hear and beam it instantly from your phone through your guitar’s pickup into your TonePrint pedal. No cables needed!
